EPA Method 1311:
TOXICITY CHARACTERISTIC LEACHING PROCEDURE

Summary:
For liquid wastes (i.e., those containing less than 0.5% dry solid material), the waste, after filtration through a 0.6 to 0.8 ?m glass fiber filter, is defined as the TCLP extract.

Scope:
The TCLP is designed to determine the mobility of both organic and inorganic analytes present in liquid, solid, and multiphasic wastes.
