Lead by Flame AA. Official Name: Lead (Atomic Absorption, Direct Aspiration)

Summary:
A sample prepared according to EPA Method 200.0 is analyzed using a flame atomic absorption spectrometer. Specifications for instrument operation and preparation of standards are provided in the method.

Scope:
This method determines lead by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. Sample pretreatment according to EPA Method 200.0 determines the applicability.

Interferences:
For interferences see EPA Method 200.0. Sensitive to turbulence and absorption bands in the flame. Flame alignment and signal noise must be centered and quieted as much as possible.
