EPA Method 630:
The Determination of Dithiocarbamate Pesticides in Municipal and Industrial Wastewater

Summary:
A measured volume of sample, approximately 1 L, is digested with acid to yield carbon disulfide by hydrolysis of the dithiocarbamate moiety. The evolved CS2 is purged from the sample and absorbed by a color reagent. The absorbance of the solution is measured at 380 and 435 nm using a UV-visible spectrophotometer.

Scope:
This method covers the determination of dithiocarbamate pesticides.
