CHROMIUM, HEXAVALENT (DIFFERENTIAL PULSE POLAROGRAPHY)

Summary:
Method 7198 measures the peak current produced from the reduction of Cr(VI) to Cr(III) at a dropping mercury electrode during a differential pulse voltage ramp.

Scope:
This method is used to determine the concentration of hexavalent chromium [Cr(VI)] in natural and waste waters and in EP extracts.
