Columbia Analytical Services, an employee-owned company, seeks a Business Development Representative for its Eastern Region.

The Eastern Region Laboratories, including the Houston, Jacksonville and Rochester facilities, have openings for Business Development/Sales persons to help grow the business of all three labs as well as other CAS facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting technical sales and marketing activities such as identifying potential accounts, researching client needs, trade show and client site visits, tracking and reporting on progress and closing sales. The person will also work with a team of professionals to assist in the development and implementation of strategy for marketing new and exisiting technologies. Knowledge of dioxin and general laboratory operations and the associated industry is required.

BS in Chemistry or related field. Must have excellent communication skills, energy and commitment to the sales process. Experience selling dioxin or other analytical testing is required. Knowledge of testing markets within industry and government. Ability to work as part of a sales team to help promote CAS. Availability to travel in excess of 50% making sales calls on customers throughout the United States. Must have clean driving record and proof of personal auto insurance.
