Pharmaceutical QC Manager

Location

Kelso, WA.  CAS Kelso is the largest laboratory in the network with over 25,000 square feet of laboratory and support staff space. Kelso is a scenic corner of SW Washington ideally situated 145 miles south of Seattle and 50 miles north of Portland along the I-5 corridor.  With a comfortable rural life style and small-town charm, residents are removed from urban congestion yet have ample access to city amenities and abundant year-round outdoor activities. 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the pharmaceutical department.  Manages raw material and component testing, analytical methods transfer and validation, and in-process and finished product release and stability testing. Accountable for all analytical analyses of raw materials and final products. Testing ranges from various physical parameters to chemical parameters requiring sophisticated instrumentation. Responsible for vendor interaction and client contact. Responsible for work schedule and tracking work flow. Responsible for writing and updating SOPs and product specification manuals.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's in science related discipline and 5+ years applicable experience required
