Laboratory Locations

ALS - Columbia features over 130,000 combined square feet of facilities equipped with sophisticated analytical instrumentation. Each laboratory is designed and constructed to provide safeguards against cross-contamination of samples and is arranged by work function to enhance the efficiency of analytical operations. In addition, specialized areas are designed for efficient and safe handling of a variety of sample types. These include a sample receiving and shipping area, sample container preparation area, and refrigerated storage for samples, chemicals and standards.

All ALS - Columbia locations offer either internal or contract courier/delivery services to deliver sampling kits and to receive samples. Deliveries outside of normal working hours, including weekends, are easily arranged. ALS - Columbia also serves international clients and has the necessary permits in place to accept foreign soils, water samples and tissue samples of both plants and animals.
