Columbia Analytical Logo Use
The Columbia Analytical logo uses spot colors of PMS (Pantone) 541 (Dark Blue: use for part of logo) and 544 (Light blue – use for inside ‘A’ in the CAS logo ).
Equivalent 541 values:
CMYK values: C:100% M:57%, Y:0%, K:38%
RGB values: R:0, G:70, B:127
Equivalent 544 values:
CMYK values: C:30% M:6%, Y:0%, K:0%
RGB values: R:172, G:212, B:241
If the document is to be printed in black & white, please use the black & white logo version.

ALS Environmental Logo Use
The ALS Environmental logo uses spot colors of PMS (Pantone) 2955 (Dark Blue at 100% and Light Blue at 40%) and 122 (Yellow). The Environmental Division also uses PMS 583 (Green).
Equivalent 2955 (ALS Blue) values:
CMYK values: C:100% M:43%, Y:0%, K:34%
RGB values: R:0, G:83, B:135
Equivalent 2955 at 40% (ALS Light Blue) values:
CMYK values: C:40% M:17%, Y:0%, K:14%
RGB values: R:150, G:169, B:201
Equivalent 122 (ALS Yellow) values:
CMYK values: C:0% M:18%, Y:83%, K:0%
RGB values: R:248, G:215, B:68
Equivalent 583 (ALS Environmental Green) values:

If the document is to be printed in black & white, please use the black & white logo versions.

LOGO USE GUIDELINES
- Avoid scaling the logos to 'fit' into a design.
- Use at least a 0.5” white space ‘cushion’ around the logos. It preserves the integrity and professionalism of the logo by preventing clutter and letting it ‘breathe.'
- Do not alter or reproduce our logos in any colors other than those specified.
- Do not modify the logos.

Fonts
Please use Lucida Sans where possible as the standard corporate font. (Since the Web has limited font selections, Verdana was chosen as our standard online font for various reasons, including these).
If your computer does not have Lucida Sans:
- download the Lucida Sans font
- double click to expand (unzip) the folder
- select all the contents and drag into your Fonts folder (Your fonts folder is located at C:\WINDOWS\Fonts)
- a window will then pop up and ask you if you want to install fonts. Choose Yes.
- Close and restart Word or whatever application you're using and Lucida Sans should now appear in the font list.

Images
Marketing materials may include images of smiling professionals in white lab coats. These are emphasized to portray ourselves as ‘experts’ along with having friendly customer service value of ALS - Columbia. No clip art should be used.

Writing Style
Use the name ‘ALS - Columbia’
Please use the name ALS - Columbia in regular body copy. If an official document, the legal name Columbia Analytical Services, Inc. dba ALS Environmental may be used as the first instance that appears on a page, with subsequent uses shortened to ‘ALS - Columbia’. It is ok to refer to us as ‘us’ and ‘we’ in communication materials.
Please avoid the acronym CAS for any outside communications. The CAS acronym is widely used and may create confusion with some prospective customers.
